Intelligent conversation operations

WhatsApp for salons, spas and beauty clinics

A no-show is an empty chair nobody can resell at short notice. Reminders fix most of that, and the rest is a rebooking message sent at the right interval rather than whenever somebody remembers.

What you send, and what it counts as

The category decides everything else: the price, whether it reaches somebody who opted out, and the criteria it is reviewed against.

MessageCategoryWhat that means
Booked, reminder the day beforeUtilityThe single highest-return message in this business.
Time to rebookMarketingEven for a regular client. It is unprompted, so the opt-out applies.
A cancellation just opened upMarketingTime-sensitive, which makes an approved template essential rather than optional.

The message you need most is the one you cannot improvise

A 2pm cancellation is worth filling within the hour, and the client you would offer it to has not messaged you in three weeks — so the window is closed and free text will not deliver. That message has to exist as an approved template before the cancellation happens. Salons that learn this the hard way lose the slot while waiting for a review.

The double braces are variables WhatsApp fills per recipient. Meta rejects a template whose numbering has gaps, and Zanii catches that before you submit it.

Common questions

How do I stop clients no-showing?
A reminder the day before, sent as a utility template so it reaches everybody including clients who opted out of marketing, with a reply option to reschedule. The reply arrives in the same shared inbox your team already works from, and it reopens the 24-hour window — so the rescheduling conversation costs nothing extra.
Can clients see the price list and book a specific stylist?
The price list goes as a catalog or a PDF in reply to an enquiry — free-form, so inside the window the client's own message opens. Booking a named stylist works through the connected calendar: the assistant offers that stylist's free slots, not the salon's, and the booking waits for reception to approve before it is written. Clients who ask for the same person every time are the ones a salon keeps, and the conversation history shows reception who that is.
Does TRA apply to these messages?
Bahrain's Telecommunications Regulatory Authority governs commercial messaging, and the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL, in force since 2019) is the stricter constraint: marketing needs prior consent and a working opt-out, and a consent record has to exist. Meta's verification asks for the SIJILAT commercial registration. Batelco, stc Bahrain and Zain numbers all verify as senders.
